What is BOTOX®? BOTOX® Cosmetic is a natural, purified protein, which in very low doses relaxes the overactive muscles that cause frown and stress lines to form on your face over time. BOTOX® has been safely used for more than a decade in a variety of cosmetic applications. While BOTOX® Cosmetic is FDA-approved for treatment of frown lines, other areas of off-label usage have shown that BOTOX® is also highly effective in helping with muscle spasms (facial "tics") of the eyelids, face and neck. Is BOTOX® safe?
