Restylane is a safe and natural cosmetic dermal filler that restores fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds — like the ones around your mouth and nose. Restylane is FDA-approved for filling the nasolabial crease, although it’s frequently used off-label for the lips.

What is Restylane?

Made of non-animal based hyaluronic acid, Restylane is used to give your skin the fullness and volume that restores a smoother contour to your face. Instantly, you will achieve long-lasting wrinkle correction.

Restylane has been safely used by dermatologists and plastic surgeons since 1996 worldwide. Because it is biodegradable and completely biocompatible with the human hyaluronic acid that already exists in your body, there’s no need for allergy testing.

Your Restylane wrinkle reducing treatment will typically last about six months (twice as long as collagen), with most patients scheduling twice a year visits.

Treatments consist of injecting the skin in tiny amounts using an ultra-fine needle. Afterwards, Dr. Kaestner may gently massage your skin to optimize contouring.
